Describe the dish and the portion you ate: “one bowl homemade chicken chili, about two cups” or “lasagna, one large square, beef, ricotta, mozzarella.” Add obvious calorie drivers like oil, cheese, cream, nuts, and sauces.
For batch cooking
- Log the main ingredients if you know them.
- Estimate total servings in the batch.
- Log your serving size consistently (“one sixth of batch”, “two cups”, “one bowl”).
- If you repeat the meal, reuse the same description so your entries stay comparable.
